Wow Take A Bow offers quality canine services for customers in Central and Western Massachusetts. Our philosophy is simple: dogs are treated like valued family members, nothing less will do.
All for fun -- one run for all!
While here, your pup will enjoy playing, relaxing, and learning in the company of other friendly dogs. If your dog is in need of some TLC, they can receive a full-blown grooming to the style of your choice. We even offer training services for dogs in our care, from basic manners to helpful tasks and fun tricks.
Folks, Wow Take a Bow will cease operations March 1, 2011. It pains me to close the business on such short notice, but I have had worsening health and now I need to take care of myself. The American Poodles At Work program will continue as we resettle in Worcester and I recuperate. We have added a Guest Book where people can leave their well-wishes and add friendly recommendations for local alternative dog care facilities. Services Overview
At Wow Take A Bow we cater to friendly dogs. We understand that many members of the 'power' breeds are great with other dogs, but due to their strength should a problem arise we generally only house them with other dogs from the same family. We also do not accommodate intact males over 6 months of age (of any breed) within a group - individual runs are available. During peak boarding times we may not be able to accept power breeds or intact dogs, but an early reservation will secure an opening.
Boarding
Friendly dogs board in a communal-style, sharing a large run with other dogs of similar size and personality. The dogs can play all day long, or just hang-out - it's up to them! Each dog is given their own crate for meals and nap/night time, allowing for slow eaters and restless sleepers to not be bothered.
Day Care
For the young or active dog whose owner works long hours. Like the boarders, these dogs will have the oppurtunity to play with similar dogs through-out the day
Training
We offer individualized instruction or group training classes (based on demand). Training is available for puppy socializing, basic manners (Canine Good Citizen), rally and novice obedience (for competition). We can also board and train your dog for you, though we encourage owners who want to train their own dogs. For more details on the types of training available, click here.
Grooming
Full all-breed *pet* grooming is available - *show* dogs will only
receive a brush-out, bath and dry (including nails and ears). Any dog
boarding for at least six nights will receive a *free*
grooming, as much or little as the owner prefers! Sorry, no
